O light of my eyes, O lifeblood of my being You, whose presence eases my worries Who else but you... has the tenderness of a mother? O Egypt, O mother of all lands No matter how far the distances separate us, I will return, and I have a date with you On your Nile, O Egypt O Egypt, mother of nations O possessor of all hearts I will never repent of my love for you My life, O Egypt... my life, O Egypt Within me and with me wherever I go You whose love is the elixir of the soul And I will remain, until my soul departs, In love with your soil, O Egypt... my life, O Egypt O Egypt, mother of nations O possessor of all hearts I will never repent of my love for you My life, O Egypt... my life, O Egypt Within me and with me wherever I go You whose love is the elixir of the soul And I will remain, until my soul departs, In love with your soil, O Egypt... my life, O Egypt You don't know what impossible means Strong with us and you strengthen us, O land of the Nile My soul is sacrificed for you and for you Little And I am proud O dearest name in existence My love for you knows no bounds Your name is on my forehead With all pride O Egypt, mother of nations. O possessor of all hearts I will never repent of my love for you My life, O Egypt... my life, O Egypt Within me and with me wherever I go You whose love is the elixir of the soul And I will remain, until my soul departs, In love with your soil, O Egypt... my life, O Egypt O Egypt, mother of nations O possessor of all hearts I will never repent of my love for you My life, O Egypt... my life, O Egypt Within me and with me wherever I go You whose love is the elixir of the soul And I will remain, until my soul departs, In love with your soil, O Egypt... my life, O Egypt
